Quality Supervisor

Immediate Opportunity with a Leading Manufacturer of Engineered Mechanical Components
Our client, a reputable manufacturer of engineered mechanical components, is hiring a Quality Supervisor for a direct-hire role and an immediate start.
This is a great opportunity for a hands-on leader in quality assurance to make an impact in a fast-paced, technical machine shop/job shop environment.
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the Quality Supervisor will lead daily inspection operations, manage a team of 5–7 employees, perform quality checks, and support continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in a technical field preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or related discipline.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and operating dimensional inspection tools and CMM machines.
• Strong math, computer, and communication skills.
• ISO 9001 experience is a plus.
• Proven supervisory and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily inspection operations and lead a team of 5–7 inspectors.
• Perform inspections using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, Sunnen gauges, and CMM machines.
• Interpret blueprints, job orders, and specifications to ensure compliance.
• Train and mentor staff on inspection methods, equipment use, and safety.
• Collaborate with other departments and management to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
