CNC Supervisor 2nd Shift – Hands-On
Location: Ossining, NY
Compensation: Up to $90,000 DOE
We have been hired to help a client find a hands-on CNC Supervisor for 2nd – Shift operations. This role is ideal for a working leader who is actively involved in CNC programming, machine set-ups, and troubleshooting while overseeing shop floor productivity. The position requires a strong technical background and the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced machining environment. No relocation assistance provided. Must be within a commutable distance to Ossining, NY.

Qualifications:
- Hands-on CNC programming, set-up, and troubleshooting experience required (MasterCam preferred)
- 5–7 years of experience in a CNC machining/manufacturing environment
- Experience with CNC & VMC machines (HAAS preferred)
- Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and inspection methods (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Proven ability to lead in a working supervisor capacity
- Ability to support operators and resolve machining issues in real time
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills in a production environment
- Must meet ITAR requirements (U.S. Person status required)
- Actively perform CNC programming, machine set-ups, and troubleshooting on the shop floor
- Provide hands-on technical support to operators to resolve machining and production issues
- Supervise second shift CNC operations and ensure production schedules are met
- Oversee CNC programming activities and ensure accuracy and efficiency of programs
- Coordinate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical challenges and avoid downtime
- Train and mentor CNC personnel, supporting skill development and cross-training
- Monitor tooling, machine performance, and workflow to maintain efficiency
