Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Croton-on-Hudson, NY
Compensation: $75,000 – $90,000 (depending on experience)

A stable and reputable manufacturing company is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support and improve production operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, self-directed individual to play a key role in optimizing manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across machining and production environments.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline required
  • 5–7 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role within a machining or fabrication environment
  • Strong experience with CNC machining processes, programming, setup, tooling, and fixture design
  • Solid understanding of process optimization and lean manufacturing principles
  • Experience working with quality systems such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, document, and standardize manufacturing processes and work instructions to improve efficiency and consistency
  • Analyze production data to identify and resolve process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and quality issues
  • Provide hands-on support on the shop floor, assisting with troubleshooting and process improvements
  • Design and implement tooling, jigs, and fixtures to improve accuracy and setup efficiency
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure processes meet specifications
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to manufacturing methods, equipment, and technology
  • Support new product introduction by developing process flows, documentation, and tooling requirements
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Train production staff on new or updated processes
